The France Defence Attaché at the French Embassy in Kenya Lieutenant Colonel Marc De Bloock paid a courtesy call on the Commander Kenya Navy Major General Levi Mghalu on 18th September 2019 at Kenya Navy Headquarters Mtongwe, Mombasa County.

During the visit the two held lengthy bilateral talks meant to strengthen ties between the two Navies. Among the issues discussed was the planned diplomatic visit of the French Navy Ship, El-mah, (patrol craft) which is scheduled to call on the Kenya Navy on 19th September 2019. The Kenya Navy Sailors will have a chance to interact with the El-mah’s crew and conduct joint training exercises on board the ship during its visit.
