The Pakistan Chief of the Naval Staff visit to the Kenya Navy

Deputy Commander Kenya Navy Brigadier William Kombe receives the Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) of Pakistan Navy Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi at the Kenya Navy Mtongwe Jetty during his visit to the Kenya Navy Headquarters Mombasa County on 25th July 2019.

The Chief of the Naval Staff (CNS) of Pakistan Navy Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi paid a courtesy call on the Commander Kenya Navy on 25 July 2019 at the Kenya Navy Headquarters, Mtongwe, in Mombasa County. The Admiral was received by the Deputy Commander Kenya Navy at the Mtongwe Jetty where he inspected a Guard of Honour mounted by the Kenya Navy personnel.

Admiral Zafar Mahmood Abbasi visited the Kenya Naval Training College Full Mission Bridge Simulator (FMBS) where he was taken through the roles of the simulator. He was briefed on how instrumental the simulator has been in seamanship training of personnel from both Kenya Navy and other government institutions involved in Maritime domain without going to sea.

Later, the Admiral was taken for a sea ride onboard the Commander Kenya Navy Admiral’s badge to familiarize himself with various development projects along the Kilindini harbor which include the new Kenya Navy slip way and Kenya Ports Authority berth Number which is 21 under construction.

The Admiral was accompanied by the Commodore Ijaz Ahmad and Brigadier Farhan Yousaf from the Pakistan Navy.
